Humana will enhance renewal rates beginning in January 2021!


Great news! To keep up with the ever-changing marketplace and to recognize the increased effort you make to retain members, Humana will increase its renewal rates for policies with an original effective date on or after January 1, 2020 based on Fair Market Value (FMV) renewal rates set by CMS each year.   For policies with an original effective date prior to January 1, 2020, please refer to the applicable Producer Partnership Plan of the year that coincides with the original effective date of the policy.

Important Notice! ASEC Process Change

CMS has communicated a process change regarding an agent’s use of the Agent Statement for Enrollment Correction (ASEC) that impacts the Enrollment team’s ability to make corrections.  Humana must comply with these new guidelines. Effective September 1, 2020, Humana will no longer accept plan change requests received from an agent through the ASEC process.

Individual SAN numbers need to be provided to ASU Representatives

When calling the Agent Support Unit (ASU) you will need to provide an Individual Agent’s SAN (Agent ID Number) not an Agency SAN. If you are calling on behalf of or for multiple agents, please provide the ASU representative with the SAN number for the head/principle agent, or the first agent you are calling on behalf of.

ASU will be closed on 9/7/2020.

In observance of Labor Day, ASU will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2020. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 to assist you. We would like to wish everyone a safe holiday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

SEP Disaster Notice

CMS provides a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) for individuals affected by severe weather who need to enroll in, disenroll from or switch Medicare health or prescription drug plans and have missed another enrollment period (i.e., either aging in or a SEP) due to the weather event.
